About the Item

Allen Simon: 1917-2007. He was born in England but lived and studied in Ney York city. He studied at Cooper Union, National Academy of Design and the Art Students League. He is best known for these optical abstract paintings that were inspired by Agam. This gem is oil or acrylic on masonite. It measures 12 1/2 inches wide by 11 1/4 high. The frame measures 18 1/4 inches high by 17 1/8.
