About the Item
Shades of Purple and Gold and abstracts is a new direction for Texas artist Lindy Schillaci. Shades of Purple and Gold shows the warm colors of the Texas landscape on the road to the Texas Hill Country. Afterglow is a mixture of colors that blend together in this abstract painting. The artist did six paintings in this new series of abstract paintings .
Ever since she began taking private art lessons in junior high school, Texas painter Lindy Schillaci has been involved in the art world in some way. She earned a fine arts degree in painting and ceramics from Southwest Texas State University, then headed to the Parsons School of Design to study fashion illustration.
