Widely considered a star of contemporary art and collected world-over, American painter Shara Hughes creates invented, dream-like landscapes. Much like Henri Matisse and other Fauves, Hughes' palettes are striking and non-natural.
"All The Pretty Faces" brims with flowers and other plant life, motifs for which Hughes is best known. Hughes' paintings are held by many of art's most prominent institutions including; Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York; The Whitney Museum; Smithsonian American Art Museum; The Fondation Louis Vuitton in Paris; Dallas Museum of Art; Denver Museum of Art; M Woods Museum in Beijing. Similar paintings are with the Met and Denver Museum of Art.
