Visual artist Suzanne Visser, was born on March 23, 1972 in Oostburg. After completing her studies at St. Mary's Academy in Antwerp (fashion design and illustration), she continued her studies at Art Academy St. Joost in Breda. In 1996 she graduated, illustrating in the direction. Hereafter she worked, among other things, as an illustrator and graphic designer. Over time, the illustrating took place for painting on canvas, partly due to the many positive reactions. She has been allowed to exhibit her multifarious artworks at various locations.
A clear evolution is visible through the work. The paintings get an ever bigger mythical, almost spiritual depth. Those who look at one of her canvases for a long time will discover new details and hidden messages. Sometimes her work is subdued and reflective, sometimes exuberant and humorous. Some paintings look more traditional and others are true power explosions.
