About the Item
A painting which recalls the influence of Victor Vasarely's early works on my own early abstracts. This painting from the Meditations on Modernism series also reflects my commitment to promoting modern architecture through the struggle from 1992 to 1993 to save the award winning building by my late father, D.C. Simpson's, the Main Branch Library in Vancouver. Signed and dated on the back and wired for hanging.
