Laura Mahan has lived in the Santa Cruz area since 1942. She started drawing with pen and ink while in high school and later took up painting. Laura studied with the late Anoton Dahl, Jon Blanchette and Gladys Drake. Mrs. Mahan paints landscapes, seascapes and still lifes as well as portraits.
