"Unicorn," a departure from Stefanie Schneider's customary style, captures an extraordinary convergence of elements that transcend mere coincidence. In this artwork from her 2005 series "The Last Picture Show," a horse's eye takes center stage, radiating with an ethereal quality.
The image not only showcases the horse's eye and the delicate white hair that envelops it but also adds an unexpected touch—a horn sprouting from the creature's head, reminiscent of the mythical unicorn.
