Jill Moser
Of Night

2023

About the Item

"Of Night" is a color aquatint and woodcut by Jill Moser, printed on Somerset Velvet Soft White paper in an edition of 20. The artist's signature, year and edition number are all in pencil below the image. The Manneken Press blind stamp is impressed into the lower left margin. The subtle brushstrokes in the horizontal orange block and the textured ink quality of the narrow pink strip printed with woodcut echo qualities of the artist's painted collage which was the inspiration for the image. The plates were made at Manneken Press in the summer of 2022 and the edition was signed in January 2023. Published by and available exclusively from Manneken Press.

García de la Nuez participated in the historic 1982 exhibition titled 4x4 with colleagues Gustavo Acosta...
