RABBI TEACHING is an original hand drawn, limited edition lithograph printed in sepia brown ink on archival Arches printmaking paper 100% acid free from a hand drawn lithography stone using traditional hand lithography techniques, not a photo reproduction or digital print. RABBI TEACHING is a realistic, detailed portrait depicting an elder Rabbi teaching a young boy. RABBI TEACHING is in good condition, superb craftsmanship, never been framed or mounted, pencil signed AP (Artists Proof) by Vladimir Dashevsky, printers chop mark embossed on lower corner, from the master printers private collection.

About the artist-
Vladimir Dashevsky was born in 1928 in Kiev.
He was graduated from the Art Academy of Kiev, and later became a member of the United Architect Union of the U.S.S.R.
Mr. Dashevsky participated in numerous group shows in the U.S.S.R., and had several one-man shows as well, the last one being in 1967.
As a Soviet citizen, he could not exhibit abroad, nor travel in order to show his works outside of Russia. He came to the United States in June of 1976, and since was able to make a name for himself as a portrait artist.
