About the Item
Marcello Fantoni is a florentine artist specialized in ceramic. He followed the courses at the Art Institute in Florence, having Libero Andreotti and Bruno Innocenti as his Scultping proefessors and Gianni Vagnetti as his Figure professor.
He started his activity from the 1934, opening his own Factory from the 1936. After WWII he got a resounding success and his works are exhibited in some of the most important museums all over the world (from USA to Japan).

Marcello Fantoni
Marcello Fantoni was a Florentine artist who specialized in ceramics. He studied at the Art Institute in Florence, where Libero Andreotti and Bruno Innocenti were his sculpting professors and Gianni Vagnetti was his figurative art professor. Fantoni began to work as a ceramist in 1934, opening his factory in 1936. After the Second World War, he became very successful, and his works are held in some of the world's most important museums (from the USA to Japan).
