Raul Acero
Ceramic Sculpture -- Circle #12/Circulo #12

Circa 2007

About the Item

This contemporary sculpture is realized in a primitivist mode. The sculpture will remind the viewer of an ancient or pre-historic figure, an impression reinforced by the blue-grey texture of the piece itself. Raul Acero is a sculptor and ceramic artist born in Bogota, Colombia, and raised in New York City. In his work, Acero is drawn to ancient figures and people throughout history. He is a Professor of Art at the University of Redlands in California, and exhibits regularly.
