This statue is handcrafted by lost wax process which is one of the ancient process of metal craft. Manjushree is seated on lotus with one hand holding a sword which is a symbol to cut ignorance. It has a full copper body.
A long process is required to make a statue complete unlike mass production. It is made by artisans of Patan, Nepal where the skill is passed down for generations. A booklet on procedure of making a statue comes with the purchase.
