Vintage Art Deco Style Sterling Silver Candleholders
By ER, Birmingham 1
Located in Jesmond, Newcastle Upon Tyne
A fine and impressive pair of vintage Elizabeth II English sterling silver candleholders in the Art Deco style; an addition to our ornamental silverware collection.
These vintage Elizabeth II sterling silver candleholders have a circular waisted form.
The plain capital to each candleholder is supported by two plain waisted moulded arms forming a shaped column.
The upper terminals of the columns are embellished with chased ribbed ornamentation.
The lower portion of the column of each candleholder integrates into a stepped foot to the circular base.
The circular bases are each supported with four stepped feet, all crafted in the iconic Art Deco style.
The bases of the candleholders are further ornamented with subtle tooled ornamentation to the junction with each foot.
