Frederic Henri Kay Henrion Furniture
German, British, 1914-1990
A designer of European origin, Henrion made Britain his home in 1936. Known first for his wartime posters and exhibitions for the Ministry of Information during the War, he later became particularly influential in the field of corporate design. Henrion created many familiar logos including those for the Festival Hall, Girobank and the London Electricity Board. He was also the display designer for the exhibitions on 'The Natural Scene' and 'The Country' at the Festival of Britain. Later co-ordinated graphics design for the British Pavilion at Expo 67 in Montreal.(Biography provided by Cal Smith Gallery)
