This exceptional antique George V sterling silver photograph frame has a plain rectangular form. The surface of this hallmarked silver frame is plain and unembellished. This silver photograph frame is fitted with a fine and impressive oakwood back hinged strut secured with two hallmarked silver swivel catches; the silver portion securing the oakwood back and the hallmarks to the catches indicate the high quality of the piece. The versatile strut facilitates the frame to be situated in either a portrait or landscape stance. This impressive photograph frame is inset with a removable glass panel. Condition: This antique hallmarked silver frame is a superior gauge of silver, exceptional quality and in exceptional condition. The original oakwood back has been professionally polished by a cabinet maker and is in presentation condition. A very fine and impressive, unusual antique Edwardian English cut glass, silver mounted 'watch' inkwell; an addition to our ornamental silverware collection. This very fine, large antique Edwardian cut glass inkwell has a circular domed form. The surface of the glass body is embellished with convex fluted decoration and features a star cut glass motif to the underside. This impressive piece has a plain sterling silver mount which incorporates a hinged, hallmarked gimbal mounted cover which features a gent's pocket/fob watch. The hallmarked detachable upper rim of the cover allows access to the nickel plated watch. The plain mount of this impressive inkwell displays the retailer's mark 'Vickery, To the Queen, 181 & 183 Regent St W' in addition to the registration number '4176'.
