Introducing a pair of cozy armchairs expertly crafted by Fatima during the 1960s, boasting a sturdy structure made from Brazilian Rosewood, commonly known as Jacaranda, and elegantly upholstered in a sophisticated off white boucle. The arms and legs of these armchairs are exquisitely sculpted, enhancing their overall aesthetic appeal. The deep color of the Rosewood further accentuates the shape of each armchair, while the wood itself has been skillfully refinished. Additionally, the upholstery has been recently replaced, ensuring a fresh and new look. The matching sofa, designated as lot 550, is available for purchase separately (Sofa can be seeing in images).

This unique mid century bench is well crafted in solid Walnut wood. It origins from France, 1960s and shows great similarity to the work of Pierre Chapo. Its design is basic, sturdy and sincere. This timeless and sleek coffee table was designed by Fatima Arquitetura e Interiores in the 1960s. This company was founded by Guilherme Nunes and Savio Visconti, both architects, in Rio de Janeiro. Their furniture pieces featured straight lines and excellent execution using rosewood, leather, natural fabrics and cane as primary materials. This rectangular coffee table consists of a thick ¾” glass top that is anchored by four ellipse-shaped solid rosewood legs.
The coffee table is showcased in our showroom next to a rocking chair, ottoman and sofa by Liceu de Artes e Oficios and two stylish armchairs by Bertomeu, and the vignette looks nothing less than spectacular.
A piece like this will not only look awesome in a mid-century modern space but also in a modern, contemporary or even minimalist style.
