Ostertag Art Deco Emerald and Diamond Brooch
By Ostertag
Located in Riverdale, NY
Wonderful Art Deco Diamond and Emerald brooch from the 1930's, set in platinum by Ostertag, France. This lovely design is very reminiscent of Coco Chanel's logo who was his neighbor in the period, where he was located at 16 Place Vendome. Conjoined "C" motifs are are laid with a ladder of diamond baguettes edged with round stones terminating in 2 large diamonds (over 1 carat each) on one end and large fluted Columbian teardrops with tiny pave ball caps on the other.
