In the outside a mottled mustard yellow color with a 3 dimensional design of flowers in perpendicular bands and a dark brown inner glaze. History Scheurich was founded in 1928 by Alois Scheurich and his cousin Fridolin Greulich as a wholesaler of glass, porcelain and ceramics. In 1938, Scheurich settled in Kleinheubach (70 kilometers southeast of Frankfurt am Main). In 1948, the production of household ceramics began. Scheurich stopped the wholesale activities in 1954 and focused entirely on manufacturing ceramics himself. Initially they mainly made bowl dishes and ashtrays, but they soon switched to vases and flower pots. Scheurich's hegemony began in the late 1960s. This vase 203-18 was produced in the 1970s in West Germany by the Scheurich. This vase was made of ceramics in the fat lava technique. Shiny purple red and expressive brown show the object a rare character. Scheurich always used white clay, the color of which is visible on the bottom edge of the vase.
