About the Item
This fabulous hooded cape was designed by the mother of American sportswear, Bonnie Cashin, during her time at Sills.
Made from a rich charcoal gray wool, this piece is fully lined in a vibrant cherry red wool jersey and features matching red leather trim throughout. The hood can be fastened directly under the chin to protect against the elements and features a pointed and very modern looking top! Brass turn lock closures are used to fasten the piece, a hallmark of the designer, and there are hidden pockets at each side to help keep comfy and warm.
In good condition for its 50+ years of age, there is some wear, rubs and darkening to the red leather trim, hard to see when wearing but evident when inspecting closely.
Made in the USA. Tagged SILLS A BONNIE CASHIN DESIGN, this is one size fits most and measures: shoulders - 17in, length - 41in. Dry clean only.
