Black Multi Floral High-Waisted Satin Gown
About the Item
Charming, whimsical, lovely! This playful gown in 100% luxurious silk charmeuse was shown in the Barbara Tfank 2012 Collection, the designer’s Tribute to Elizabeth Taylor. It is roller-printed, a technique of supreme artistry no longer in use since the adoption of laser printing.
Its vibrant, richly colored floral design was printed by Frontline, a Swiss state-of-the-art textile company and maker of Hermes prints, based in Zurich but sadly no longer in existence.
This glamorous, delightful gown has a lovely square neckline trimmed in black lace with wide, pleated straps.
Great for entertaining at home, perfect for occasions out and about, this dress with its floral motif in the spirit of “conversational” prints, and easy-fitted silhouette presents a unique and timeless elegance.
