Regency Burgundy Silk Velvet Jeweled Cutout Back Bias Gown with Train – M, 1930s
About the Item
While the rich color, poured-on bias draping and jewel button sleeves will elicit gasps, the real star of this gown is the back: two diamond cutouts linked by pave jeweled hoops make this dress a showstopper worthy of the Silver Screen.
Hollywood Regency gown featuring draped boatneck bodice and bias skirt with 4” rear train; pointed dolman sleeves with 8 rhinestone jeweled buttons and loops at forearm. Two 10 ½” x 4 ½” rear diamond cutouts linked by three 1 ½” rhinestone pave discs across middle back. Left side opening with 9 hook and eye closures. Cuffs lined in burgundy silk chiffon; bodice and skirt unlined.
