Kaisik Wong Teal Ensemble with Jacket & Dress -- Dress is featured in a teal blue with a metallic lame design along the bust and neckline and a front zipper closure. Jacket has a multicolored lame design along the opening and around the hem with metallic silver butterfly sleeves and a zippered fastening.

Kaisik Wong, a progressive clothing artist born in San Francisco, emerged on the creative scene in the early 1970s and was active until his death in 1990. His work, most of which was entirely handmade without any use of patterns, was a direct reflection of a time when folk art and DIY craft were at the forefront of grassroots artistic practices. Ensemble was originally purchased at the San Francisco Art to Wear boutique, Obiko.
