Extremely rare Louis Vuitton x The French Luggage Company Wig Case or Round Hat Trunk, likely made in the 70s. Made from Louis Vuitton's signature monogram canvas and created in the USA under special license by The French Luggage Company, this piece is trimmed in coated leather & features a top handle for carriage. The interior is lined in brown fabric with a wooden post, meant to hold a hat form in place. Brass feet on bottom and a center zipper with push tab for securing contents. Comes with a triangular Louis Vuitton/French Co monogram luggage tag (no keys included). Perfect for travel, the Louis Vuitton collector or for the interior designer as home decor, this special and incredibly rare piece measures approximately 14in H x 14.5in across the top. Preowned/vintage with signs of prior age, use and wear: we note scuffs, digs, darkening to the coated leather trim, and the front leather patch is heat-stamped with a previous owners initials.
