Standing Green Glazed Pottery Attendant Figure
About the Item
This standing attendant male figure is dressed in a front-closing green robe, cinched at the waist with a sash tied in a knot. Atop his head sits a red hat. He adopts a formal pose on a hexagonal stand, his right hand crossing his chest. The green glaze has changed in burial, with parts turning iridescent. The face is covered in a white slip, while the wide-brimmed hat is painted red. The head was crafted separately from the body.
