Chinese antique pottery small plate/13th century/Waterfowl pattern/Jin Dynasty
About the Item
This is a plate made in China in the 13th century.
This plate was made during the Jin dynasty when China was divided into several countries.
Different places in China produced different colors of pottery with different designs.
Among them, this one was fired in a kiln called Cizhou kiln.
Cizhou Kiln is an area about 500 kilometers south of Beijing, and there were many kilns.
The feature is basically that there are many plain pottery on a white background.
Among them, some were painted with red and green colors like this.
To make it, once you apply a white glaze and bake it. After that, patterns are drawn with red or green overglaze paint and fired again at low heat.
Bake twice in this way.
In addition, waterfowl are drawn on this plate, and this pattern is almost the same in specialized art books. Please see the photos (front and back) for reference.
There are no scratches and the condition is very good.
It is an item that cannot be obtained easily.
Also, a plate stand is included so that you can display this plate, so why not display it in your living room or collection shelf?
Also, I want many people to know the goodness of antiques, so I set the price reasonably.
In addition, since this is an excavated item, the soil from the excavation is attached to the back side.
It has hardened and cannot be removed.
It is common to most excavations.
A wooden storage box is also included.
(The letters written on the storage wooden box are not related to this plate.)
Weight: 308g

In today's world, where cheap and disposable products are encouraged, the act of repeatedly modifying and re-creating the things around us opens up a new world. With this philosophy in mind, we collect beautiful, powerful, unique, and carefully selected Japanese antiques. This is a very old ceramic vase...Category
