Japanese Totai Shippo Porcelain Covered Box
About the Item
A fine Japanese porcelain box.
Decorated to the exterior with a dark turquoise enamel ground with floral decorations. The figural finial as well as the interiors of the box & lid are classic blue and white porcelain with floral decoration.
Simply a beautiful piece of Japanese Taito Shippo porcelain!

It is in overall good, as-pictured, used estate condition with no chips, cracks, or repairs.
Condition Details:
There is some light edge wear and staining to the rim & foot rim, some crazing here and there, some fine & light surface scratches and other signs of expected light wear consistent with age.
