Japanese Lacquer and Bronze Temple Ranma 'Panel'

About the Item

Japanese Temple Ranma (Panel) lacquered with many coats of lacquer which created this rich dark brown finish on cryptomaria wood. The ornamentations are bronze flowers. There are two large bronze flowers on both sides, and three bronze flowers in the middle. The bottom edge is gilted. It would be lovely above a console hall or entry table. This item, due to fragile lacquer, requires a plywood custom-made shipping-box to arrive safely. Seller will handle this to see that it is done properly.
