About the Item

Antique Meiji Period bronze and bone sculpture - dramatic fine casting of an elephant and tiger - mounted to an black painted wood base - unsigned - Japan - late 19th century. Excellent antique condition - replaced plinth/base with scuffs and scratches from age and use - no loss - no damage - no restoration to the bronze. Bronze Size - 8 1/2" x 4 1/4" x 7 1/4" High. Over-all Size - 8 3/4" x 4 1/2" x 8 1/8" High.
