English 19th Century Stone Urn
About the Item
A stately stone pedestal planter from 19th century England. Ornamented with lion faces which connect with laurel swags. Holes for water drainage are present as well as a large screw for support. The top lifts from the base. It has gained a fantastic natural patina from over 140 years in the elements, circa 1880. Make sure to scroll through the detailed images to get a closer look. Opening is 21-½” diameter x 12-¼” deep.
