Antique Clear Leaded Glass Window with Wood Frame

About the Item

Antique clear leaded glass window in wood frame, c. 1900s. Wonderful window encased in original wood frame with a clean and crisp, timeless geometrical pattern with straight lines and diamonds. It fully transmits light with clear glass in good condition (no cracks or chips) which is tightly secured within the lead work and wood frame. The subtly wavy glass is original and has amazing clarity. The neutral design will pair beautifully with most interior styles and its transparency offers lots of decorating options. In addition to placing in a window, it is great on a mantle with a hanging wreath or hung from a high ceiling. Use it as a backdrop for smaller items on a chest or table to create height, layering and visual interest. Also nice hung on a covered outdoor porch to define the space and suggest the concept of a privacy partition while allowing full visibility of a garden or view. The possibilities are endless. Both sides of the window are excellent for display depending on your preference. Guaranteed to bring warmth, charm and architectural appeal to any space.
