Antique Art Nouveau Cast Bronze & Ceramic Pedestal Bowl, Tazza or Centerpiece

About the Item

This antique cast bronze and ceramic pedestal bowl or centerpiece is unsigned, but presumed to originate from Austria and dating to approximately 1900 and done in the period Art Nouveau style. The bowl itself is done with an oval shape and scalloped edges with a black ground with deep green banding and hand-painted flowers. The outside of the bowl is done in a deep yellow with a green band of foliage. The bowl stands on a cast bronze base done with accenting figural leaves.
