Antique English Regency Mahogany Tea Caddy
About the Item
A very fine regency period mahogany tea caddy. Wonderful early surface that is rich with patina. The box expertly conceived and executed. The lid opens to reveal two lidded compartments, each of which is its own self-contained mahogany box. These flank the central mixing bowl. The whole form rests over scroll feet. A marvelous presentation of very high grade. The mixing bowl is not original but works well. I also do not have a key. Nice large size. Dimensions:15 1/4" x 8 1/2" x 7 3/4" tall.
