About the Item

A decorative English black Chinoiserie mantel clock. The highly decorative case with embossed scenes including people, pagodas, flowers, trees, gardens, birds and geometric gilt patterns and floral bands to the front. The French movement chiming the hours and half hours on a gong, numbered 6059 and inscribed 'MADE IN FRANCE'.
