A pair of Italian miniature micro mosaic photo frames circa 1920
About the Item
This rare pair of Italian miniature micro mosaic photo frames is made from brass. They have original hinged easel stands and removable back panels with oval glasses.
These beautiful pieces are decorated with pastel coloured cut glass fragments assembled in a classical design around the outer boarders divided into sections with delicate brass twisted wire. The bases are finished with small ball feet for style and stability.
These very pretty frames retain some of the original gilt finish.
They are both in excellent condition and come with two period photographs of children.

Height 6.5cm x width 5.5cm x depth 7cm when open.
