21st Century Italian Dauphin Grotesque Garden Statue
About the Item
This very ornate fountain head of a dauphin grotesque is mounted on a triangular base. The statue itself has detailed Acanthus leaves along the body and fins. The back of it is beautifully shaped and seems in movement. Made by hand in Galestro Clay. A discrete cooper fountain pipe could be added and would protrude from its mouth to shoot water. Wear consistent with age and use.
