A large sized French bulldog made by the pottery of Mesnil de Bavent, Normandy, France; a craft company since 1842.
This dog sculpture is made of terracotta and dates circa 1880 !!
It's a terracotta bulldog with glass eyes, brown-orange collar and beautiful craquelé.
Antique bulldog sculpture still in very beautiful condition.
A great decorative object by the size !
