Robert Wallace Martin for the Martin Brothers. A Bird sculpture with a playful epression, his head cocked and quizical eyes.
Crack to the rear of head. This appears to be as a result of (contemaranious) drill marks to the rear (sometimes used to fit a metal housing), and has been stabilised with a leather collar.
Apparently undated but Circa 1895
25cm high including the base, 23 cm excluding the base.
