Haunting Nude Abstract Figural Modernist Plaster Sculpture and Pedestal Base
About the Item
The modern female figurative sculpture exhibits beauty in the simplicity and grace of its form. The artist manages to evoke the subtle essence of femininity while simultaneously eliciting a mystique of the unfamiliar. This Minimalist form blurs the line between masculine and feminine, human and alien, which further captivates the viewer. Made of plaster with a textured finish, the sculpture itself balances on the black pedestal which is included with purchase. The removable plaster figure is mounted by slipping onto a vertical pipe that comes up through the pedestal. Masterfully sculpted, this form is haunting in its beauty.
