20th Century Large Bronze Statue of Atlas

About the Item

Atlas bronze of excellent casting and definition standing in and unusual pose with hands on his hips and normally with a globe on his shoulders in this depiction it is Atlas alone. A stunning green patina. Would create an atmosphere of strong history to any room. attributed artist Nicolai Outzen Schmidt created a larger version as a memorial sculpture in Denmark, Nicolai Outzen Schmidt (1844-1910), Copenhagen, Denmark.
