Bronze Sculpture - Bust Of A Woman - J. Caussé - France - 19th Century
About the Item
Art Nouveau bronze sculpture, polychrome, representing a woman dressed in a green dress decorated with a jewel, the head is topped with a floral crown. Signed on the back: J Caussé* *Julien Caussé (1869/1914) Student of Alexandre Falguière, he moved to Paris around 1890 and exhibited at the Salon of French Artists from 1888 to 1913. He obtained an honorable mention at the Salon of 1892 , as well as a 3rd class medal in 1893 and an honorable mention at the Universal Exhibition of 1900. He married Camille Pradier in March 1897 in Paris. Good condition: some signs of wear on the patina
