Idoma Ibo Female Figure. Africa, Nigeria 20th century or earlier. A seated female figure on a stool smoking a long pipe with painted with pigments and adorned with scarification marks in a proud pose. The light body is covered with black and white pigments and the head with knotted ceremonial hair design.The navel protrudes and the figure is nude. Weighted slave neck collar and cuffs on arms and legs. Patina and encrustations throughout. 20th century or earlier. Height: 34 Inches X !2 Inch Diameter Condition: No damage or repairs.
