Libertà Bronzed Sculpture

About the Item

This marvelous bronze sculpture depicting a woman fiercely raising a torch - a symbol of freedom - in one hand and holding a broken chain - symbolizing the end of slavery - in the other is an original piece conceived as an ode to freedom. The woman's ripped garments attest to the hard times she had to face to gain freedom. Crafted using the lost-wax casting technique, it belongs to a limited series of numbered pieces signed by the artist.
