Bronze pitcher, signed to body, 'Alliot'. Body of vase cast in relief depicting a female figure and dolphin among waves, with a second female figure as the handle. Alliot was a student of Louis Ernest Barrias and Jules Felix Coutan and was well known for his figurative sculptures which were exhibited for many years at the salon de paris.
