Vintage Lost Wax Cast Verde Bronze Statuette of a Soldier Holding a Horn

About the Item

A vintage lost wax cast bronze statuette of a soldier holding a horn in verde patina. Created with the traditional technique of the lost-wax (à la cire perdue) which allows for great precision and finesse in the details, this bronze statuette depicts a soldier holding a horn in his right hand, ready to blow it. Presenting great details particularly visible on his uniform adorned with curly clouds and floral motifs and wearing simple sandals, he is resting on a oblong base with scrolling patterns. Boasting a nice verde patina, this bronze statuette will be an excellent addition to any table top or shelf!
