19th century Old Paris Porcelain Urn Pair with Swan Handles
About the Item
Pair of French Old Paris unmarked urns are made of hard paste porcelain with polychrome and gold leaf. The pedestal bases are attached with an iron bolt. These classical form urns are clearly a pair, but not an identical pair. Each has a colorful floral garland on a café au lait background with a Renaissance couple on the opposite side, and with a slightly different scene. Features include double swan handles with gold gilt throughout.
