Pair 18th Century Handpainted Royal Worcester Lidded Ice Pails
About the Item
Pair 18th Century Royal Worcester lidded ice pails handpainted with views of Portsmouth Harbour. This pair with acorn finials to the covers and scrolled handles either side of the body are fished with delicate swirling gilt details featuring bands of leaves and garlands. The pair sit on waisted socles above square bases and lifting the covers reveals rims with hand painted marble effect. Circa 1795.
