About the Item
A lovely celadon or greenware ceramic vase by Edwin & Mary Scheier, one of the best known couples to ever work in pottery. Edwin (1910-2008) and Mary (1908-2007)began creating together in the 1930s. This piece has a beautiful light green glaze with accents of brown and blow around the vase's foot and lip. A stunning silhouette and truly beautiful example of their work and mastery of glazing.
In very nice vintage condition with very minimal shelf wear. Signed on underside but not dated.
Measures: 2.5" x 2.5" x 6.25".
