High Quality Japanese Cloisonne Forest Green Dragon Vase Attributed to Honda Yos

About the Item

A high quality antique Japanese, late Meiji period, enamel over copper vase. The globular form vase with a short narrow neck. The ware is enameled with a polychrome image of a dragon against the black ground made in the Cloisonne technique. The neck and the base are adorned with a scrollwork motif made in the same technique. Attributed to Honda Yasaburo, active circa 1870s to 1910. Dimensions: H 6 1/4 in. All measurements are approximate. Condition Overall good vintage condition. Signs of age and wear. Refer to photos.
