In 1954 Scheurich KG Keramikfabrik commences production of ceramics with the first electrical tunnel kiln. Animal figures with built-in clocks were highly popular gift and decoration articles in the 1950s. Strong colors and lava-type glazes were typical for Scheurich during the 1960-70’s.
