Red Sculptural Vase by Hs Studio

About the Item

Red sculptural Vase by HS Studio Surreal Real Collection Dimensions: 25 x 18 x 9cm Materials: Ceramic Hannah Simpson is a ceramic artist, based in Kent, UK. With a passion for creating unique items, Hannah's work continues to challenge the line between art and design. Hannah graduated from Loughborough University in 2019 with a 1st Class Honours in Fine Art. During her time at university, Hannah opted to take part in an industrial placement year where she interned in Eindhoven, Netherlands for designer Nacho Carbonell. Whilst on this internship Hannah developed a passion for functional art work and began combining ideas from her knowledge of art and philosophy with design to create biomorphic sculptures that often resemble mystical creatures. For the past year Hannah has continued to develop her work to combine functional design with fine art. Hannah’s work is inspired by religion, myth and instinctive thoughts, with particular focus on the relationship between order and chaos. She creates sculptures that change how a space is used, allowing the viewer to remove themselves from reality and instead be surrounded by surreal objects that can evoke imagination and emotion.

  • Cutout V05 - Contemporary Black Metal Sculptural Vase by Millim Studio
    By Millim Studio
    Located in Frascati, RM
Cutout is an aesthetic research on metal shapes that have been “cutted out” from other projects. The variable and free geometries, due to the previous processes, give the sign to each new piece. Abandoned forms come back to show themselves in a new life. No more matter in excess but form and essence. Cutout V05 is made off 4 mm sheet metal. The vase is no longer just a container for flowers but becomes a dynamic and harmonious sculpture. Each piece is made in Italy, welded and finished with care by master craftsmen. "We create experiences between art, communication, culture and design. We give value to research and time, creating unique and innovative processes. We explore the concept of beauty. We shape new visions. Form, matter and content, communicate each other evolving into new and contemporary...
